June 18: Creative Things

Governor Carney was pleased with what he saw this week on Rehoboth’s beaches, citing outside dining, with conversion of nearby parking into public walkways, as one of several “creative things” communities are doing to make this a successful summer.

Based on this and other feedback, the new walkways will remain in some spots, but be removed in others. We’ll see over the week ahead if we like the change. At the same time, expect to see more and more restaurants and cafes with a table or two on the sidewalk.
