Hot off the press, Delaware’s Governor Carney has announced that the 14-day quarantine and the ban on short-term rentals will end on Monday, June 1. Restaurants and shops will welcome a third of their normal capacity indoors. The beaches and boardwalk are of course already open.
This afternoon, Rehoboth Beach’s Board of Commissioners meets in emergency session to consider what the reopening will look like for our city. They’re expected to consider closing some of the downtown streets in whole or in part to permit restaurants to expand outdoor seating.
We’ll be visiting our unit on June 1 to check that all is in order. If you have any questions or concerns, as always, don’t hesitate to contact us our booking agent. We look forward to welcoming you this summer!
